Our location couldn’t be more perfect! Three minutes down a country road to Treman State Park, where you can swim in a waterfall. Five minutes to the City of Ithaca. Ten minutes to Cornell, Ithaca College. Fifteen to twenty minutes to Cayuga and Seneca Wine Trails and Watkins Glen.

Wake up to the smell of coffee and breakfast cooking in the kitchen. Breakfast specialties range from borsin garlic cheese frittatas served with chicken/apple sausage, to crispy waffles with fresh fruit compote and fresh cream, Canadian smoked bacon, and organic yogurt, juices, coffee and tea. Relax on the front porch with a cup of coffee, a guest favorite “hang out“ place and take in the majestic views.

The 1840’s Carpenter’s Gothic Farmhouse has been lovingly restored by the owners, both artists and designers, Dave and Maryrose have lived in the home for eighteen years before it became a Bed and Breakfast.

The spacious bedrooms are outfitted with line dried cotton sheets, featherbeds, bath amenities, ample sitting areas, air conditioning, wireless internet and quiet nights. The common areas are the fabulous kitchen, dining, living room and the front porch. With it’s wide plank pine floors, many architectural salvage details, and charming rooms, the home is a showplace and is decorated with eclectic art and antiques. An eclectic collection of Gothic chairs grace the house. The owners love to share the beauty of their surroundings with guests and friends and definitely will make your stay special and memorable.

Using salvage from the Carriage House that originally was on the property, Dave, a designer of playgrounds, small outbuildings and backyard follies, designed and built the Tea House , a delightful little building that is a favorite hangout for the owners and doubles as a cocktail reception area for small weddings and parties. Bostwick House also hosts wedding receptions and small gatherings for up to 60 people.

Like wine? Maryrose has worked in the wine industry for the past fifteen years and can help with your wine trail visit. She will call ahead to make reservations for tastings, dining, touring and Limo service, with advance notice. For a personal wine trail tour “on board guide” Maryrose is also available for a full day of touring. Additional fees apply.
